Authors submitting a manuscript for International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering (IJARE) do so on the understanding that the research work is original and not plagiarized content. The authors understands and takes full responsibility for the content that they submit to the journal. Authors need to make sure that the manuscript submitted has not been published before, is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has been read and approved by all authors. The submission of the manuscript by the authors means that the authors automatically agree to assign copyright to the IJARE journal if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication. Authors kindly make note of the following details before submission of articles online 1. Article should be in Microsoft Word format only 2. The figures or images in the manuscript must be clear and readable. The first page of the submitted article for review should include the paper's title, the abstract, and a list of keywords indicating the paper’s topic area(s), the authors' full names, affiliations, and e-mail addresses.

Authors are required to submit fully formatted papers, with graphs, images, and other special areas arranged as intended for the final publication. Papers should be written in English conforming to the linked standard format (8.5" x 11" - US letter, Two-Column). You can find a copy of the standard recommended template for Microsoft Word formats here. Your paper must be printable in order to be accepted.

An article should include the following parts: title, authors’ names, name and address of their work place, summary, keywords, introduction (the object and goal of the research, the methods applied, the review of literature and its analysis, etc.), the main text, conclusions or recommendations, references, short biographical note about the contributors at the end of the article (name, surname, academic title and scientific degree, duties, research interests).

PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT:

International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering (IJARE) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. Authors who submit papers to IJARE attest that their work is original and unpublished, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. In addition, authors confirm that their paper and research work is their own; that it has not been copied or plagiarized, in whole or in part, from other works; and that they have disclosed actual or potential conflicts of interest with their work or partial benefits associated with it.

The below statements are selection of key points for referral to the brief of the policy that is practiced by the RPJ journals, but author(s) should always refer to Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), code of conduct https://publicationethics.org/resources/code-conduct for more detailed information and explanation.

PEER REVIEW POLICY:

Research Plus Journals (RPJ) strive hard to maintain the highest standards set by the internal code of conduct for peer review through an efficiently review handling process. The highlevel workflow of the followed review process is highlighted in the below flow chart (Image Credit: Scholarly Journal Publishing Guide, Resources for McGill journal editors)

All research articles published in a RPJ undergo full peer review, key characteristics of which are listed below:

  • All research articles are blind peer reviewed by at least two suitably qualified experts in the area of the article.

  • All publication decisions are made by the journals’ Editors-in-Chief on the basis of the reviews provided and the merit of the article content.

  • Members of the international Editorial Boards lend insight, advice and guidance to the Editors-in-Chief generally and to assist decision making on specific submissions.

  • Managing Editors and Editorial Assistants provide the administrative support that allows Research Plus Journals to maintain the integrity of peer review while delivering rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers and editors alike.

  • RPJ additionally benefit through the manuscript referral process from the high quality peer review conducted by established journals, conferences and other research forums.

Peer review of referred papers:

Editors of RPJ will decide promptly whether to accept, reject, or request revisions of referred papers based on the reviews and editorial insight of the supporting journals/conferences/research forums. In addition, Editors will have the option of seeking additional reviews when needed. Authors will be advised when Editors decide further review is needed.

Peer review of novel submissions:

Articles submitted directly to a RPJ will be fully peer reviewed by at least two appropriately qualified experts in the field selected by the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief or a designated member of the Editorial Board will then decide whether to accept, reject or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received.

Editors will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper. Assessments of priority will not be a factor in decision-making, but all papers must make an incremental or novel addition to the literature and betterment of research community.

DUTIES OF AUTHORS:

Reporting standards

Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

Data Access and Retention

Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access to such, if practicable, and should in any event be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others this must be appropriately cited or quoted.

Multiple Publications

An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Peer review

Authors are obliged to participate in the peer review process and cooperate fully by responding promptly to editors’ requests for raw data, clarifications, and proof of ethics approval, patient consents and copyright permissions. In the case of a first decision of "revisions necessary", authors should respond to the reviewers’ comments systematically, point by point, and in a timely manner, revising and re-submitting their manuscript to the journal by the deadline given.

Acknowledgement of Sources

Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.

Authorship of the Paper

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works

When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

International Journal of Advanced Research in Engineering (IJARE)  is an Open Access Journal. To partly cover the publication costs Research Plus Journals charge an article publication charge (APC).
